Great Hollow’s Afterschool Enrichment Program is an active, science-based afternoon program for K-5 learners who need to burn off some steam after being trapped in a classroom or remote-learning on a computer all day. The program takes place primarily outdoors and includes scientific observation and exploration, hiking, and integrative arts as a part of the daily activities. While having fun in the great outdoors, your child will also receive personalized instruction on a wide variety of environmental science and STEAM subjects, such as:
Watershed Ecology | Wildlife Tracking | Plant and Tree Identification |
Bird Migration | Meteorology | Invasive Species Monitoring |
Orienteering | Gardening | Climate Change Science |
