Help us Rebuild Our Bridges

If you and your family have discovered all there is to love about a hike at Great Hollow, we are hoping you will help us replace two bridges that have been damaged beyond repair by storm surges and erosion in Quaker Brook. These bridges are critical links in our trail system, and create a popular loop to the waterfall and back. One is closed off and unsafe to cross, and the other has already been demolished. The quoted cost to replace the bridges and make them more resistant to future storm surges is more than $10,000.

Before the establishment of our organization in 2016, the land long-known as Great Hollow had never been open to the public. We have since improved and expanded a four-mile trail network on the property for the public to enjoy year-round, for free. Keeping these trails passable, clean, and well-marked requires constant upkeep. If you would like to help us raise the funds needed to replace these important connection points in our trail network, please click here. We thank you for your generosity and support in keeping Great Hollow a one-of-a-kind community resource for the exploration and enjoyment of the outdoors.
