Eco-Discovery Camp

Pollinator Pals for AGES 7-10

July 5-7, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

*Camp will be closed on 7/3 and 7/4 in observance of Independence Day. This week will be prorated at $195 per camper.

Are bats pollinators? What about moths? Why are pollinators so important to our agricultural industries? Find out during our special mixed-ages session covering all things pollinators!

Topics covered: plant reproduction; types of pollination; planting for pollinators

Arts and crafts activities: beeswax candles; butterfly art

 

 

Please be aware:

Cancellations/Refunds: Please contact us as soon as you know your child can no longer attend so the space can be made available for other children.

-A full refund will be given if cancellation request is made at least three weeks (21 days or more) prior to the start date of your camp week

-A 50% refund will be given if the cancellation request is made between 14 and 20 days prior to the start of your camp week.

-A 25% refund will be given if the cancellation request is made between 7 and 13 days prior to the start of your camp week.

-No refunds will be given if the cancellation request is made less than 7 days prior to the start date of your camp week*.

Full refunds will be issued for a positive COVID-19 test taken within 10 days of the first day of camp. If the camper has already started a week of camp then the refunds will be prorated. Written proof of a positive rapid antigen test, a positive PCR test, or a written note from a physician will be required for refunds. Full refunds will also be issued in the event a camper becomes ill with any of the emergency illnesses and health conditions listed on the state of CT’s Reportable Diseases with a written note from a physician.

In the event we must close due to causes beyond our control, including but not limited to: extreme weather (high heat index, tropical storms/hurricanes, etc.), power outages, fire, epidemics, or government action, refunds will not be issued.
