DESCRIPTION:Kid’s Salamander Survey Day!\nCome enjoy a citizen science-based workshop where we will discover and learn about the species of salamanders that inhabit our streams at Great Hollow. Our workshop will be a “hands on” experience for kids to get in ankle-deep water and learn the skills and techniques biologists use to uncover these secretive critters. We will also learn about the much overlooked critical role that salamanders play in our ecosystems.
