Let’s get in the spirit of autumn with an exploration of nature’s changing seasons! Join us as we search for weevils hiding in acorns (pictured left), learn why leaves change colors, and hike the woods to look for tell-tale signs of autumn’s arrival. After we complete our woodland exploration, we will wrap up with nature crafts and games.

This is a drop-off program open to children ages 5 to 10. Registration is $10/child for members and $15/child for non-members. Attendance is limited to 10 children to allow for social distancing, and advanced registration is required. Please email our education coordinator, Maggie, at with questions or to register.
