Are there any wolves in New England? How do you tell the difference between a wolf and a coyote? We’ll answer these questions and more in this virtual program all about wolves, coyotes, and other wild canids! We’ll learn about the relationship between domestic dogs and wolves, what makes wolves such effective hunters, and how coyotes have become the most dominant wild canid on the east coast. This program is most suitable for children ages 6 to 10, but younger and older children (and even parents) are more than welcome to participate! The program will be conducted over ZOOM, and require a computer/tablet with a camera and microphone. Please email our education coordinator Maggie for more details and to register. Free for members and non-members.
