Come enjoy a guided fall foliage hike to the waterfall with our naturalist and CT Master Woodland Manager Ben Lee. Attendees will learn how to identify common trees of Connecticut, as well as some invasive species, through leaves and bark. We’ll meet in the lecture room of the Merritt House for a brief discussion on basic tree identification. Next we’ll hike through second-growth forest to the upper falls on the red trail before returning to the lecture room for light refreshments and an opportunity for additional Q&As.
