Learn How to Make Maple Syrup!

March 8 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Maple syrup season has arrived! Come to Great Hollow and find out how you can make maple syrup right in your backyard. We’ll learn how to identify and tap maple trees, hang buckets, and collect sap, and then finally, how to boil it down and filter it. Best of all, we’ll have the opportunity to taste the product of our hard work – pure backyard-style maple syrup! If there’s enough, we’ll also have a limited number of small bottles for you to fill and take home. We’ll meet at 10:30 am in the visitor parking area by the main entrance. There is a suggested donation of $10 per person for non-members and $5 for members. Advanced registration is required, so please sign up by emailing Ben at .
