Great Hollow’s Executive Director, Chad Seewagen, presented research at the North American Ornithological Conference in Washington, D.C. in late August. This week-long conference hosted by the Smithsonian was the largest ornithology conference ever held, with over 2000 scientists representing 41 countries. Dr. Seewagen presented his research on the potential effects of mercury pollution on birds during long-distance migrations.
