Big Apple Birds

Tourists abound in New York City, including the thousands upon thousands of migrating birds that pass through the city’s parks to rest and refuel on their long journeys. Places like Central Park are world famous for bird-watching, but are they any good for the birds themselves? Come hear Great Hollow Executive Director, Chad Seewagen’s presentation on several years of research he did in New York City to evaluate the quality of urban parks as stopover habitat for migrating birds.
