Distance-learning: Masters of Disguise

June 2, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 10:30 am

From birds that can mimic car alarms and insects that disguise themselves as plants, to the mesmerizing color displays of a cuttlefish, animals are capable of all kinds of camouflage and mimicry. In this virtual class, we will explore some of the most amazing examples of camouflage and mimicry from around the world, and discover some of the crazy camouflagers that are hiding right in our own backyards. This program is most suitable for children ages 6 to 10, but younger and older children (and parents) are more than welcome to participate.  Please email our education coordinator Maggie for more details and to register. Free for members and non-members.
