Distance-Learning Program: Bizarre Bats

April 16, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 10:30 am

Although bats are the subject of a lot of fear and misinformation, they are actually very special creatures that are essential to the health of our ecosystems and agricultural economy. In this virtual class, we will learn all about these misunderstood animals, review the species you can see right outside your home, discuss why they’re important for the environment, and play games to understand how they navigate the world at night. This program is most suitable for children ages 6 to 10. The program will be conducted over ZOOM, and require a computer/tablet with a camera and microphone. Please email our education coordinator Maggie for more details and to register. Free for members and non-members.
