In this distance-learning program, we will virtually discover the many fascinating species of reptiles and amphibians that call Connecticut home. We’ll explore herptile adaptations, have a visit from our resident corn snake and red-bellied turtle, and learn all about the elusive five-lined skink (Connecticut’s only native lizard!). You’ll be sure to leave with a new love and appreciation of these often misunderstood animals that play important roles in our ecosystems and bring us no harm. This program is most suitable for children ages 6 to 10.
