Fall Foliage Hike

October 13, 2019 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

Enjoy the fall foliage with us and our friends from FrOGS (Friends of the Great Swamp) as we hike to the northern portions of Great Hollow and the scenic overlook in the neighboring Michael Ciaiola Conservation Area. Our hike will begin at the trail-head for Great Hollow’s purple trail off of Hardscrabble Road and traverse through second-growth forest and thickets of mountain laurel. We’ll then finish at an overlook that provides beautiful views of Great Hollow in fall foliage.

We’ll meet at Great Hollow’s visitor parking area at 11am and then carpool up to Hardscrabble Road. The hike will last about an hour and a half and will be moderately difficult in some sections. Leashed dogs are permitted. Please register by emailing John at . Free to the public.
