Join our naturalist, John Foley, and members of Friends of the Great Swamp (FrOGS) for a special guided hike, exploring Great Hollow’s fields and forests. We will learn to differentiate calls of migratory birds, identify spring-blooming plants, and learn how timber harvesting can be beneficial to forest health. The hike will be fairly easy but will include a few short, steep sections uphill and downhill. Please dress appropriately, wear proper footwear for trail hiking, bring water, and don’t forget your binoculars! Free for members and non-members. No dogs, please.
