Take a moonlit hike with Great Hollow’s naturalist, John Foley, and learn about this month’s “Hunter Moon”. We’ll look and listen for owls and other nocturnal animals as we trek up to the Tucker’s Run waterfall. Please wear sturdy footwear and bring a flashlight or headlamp. The hike is weather-dependent. Kids, bring your flashlights and join us for an early evening hike. We’ll hike along the red trail looking for hidden facts about Halloween along the way. When we’re done we will return to the lecture room to decorate pumpkins and roast s’mores. Registration is $15 per child for family-level members and above, and $20 for non-members. |
